Live Action Aladdin Review

Image
Photo Courtesy of Disney       It came as no surprise to me that one search of the 2019 live-action version of “Aladdin” on Google came up with a mirage of reviews with claims such as “an embarrassment to Disney” and “this is not what you wished for” and one scalding review after another. Those who aren’t angry, are mostly just confused. It seems like most people don't really know how to feel. I knew there would be some awful reviews, hell, I think skeptical and scolding reviews were coming out before the movie even hit the box office. It was like people were ready to hate it, looking for every reason to pick apart the movie. The key, I think, is not to think of the movie as a remake, but its own separate story. The new live-action “Aladdin” makes some changes from the original animated version. For starters, they attempt to delete potentially racist scenes or lines that the 1992 “Aladdin” overlooked. Oregon's Little Alps Joseph Oregon  The Wallowa Lake Tramway is one main attractions of Joseph Oregon. A gondola ride up 8,135ft to the top where a restaurant sits. You are met with spectacular views and miles of different hikes on top of the mountain. If you are a dare devil, you can arrange to paragliding off of the top of the mountain. The marina is a place to rent canoes, kayaks and motor boats on Wallowa Lake. Crystal clear waters and a large lakes means that if your up for it, you can kayak all the way to the other side of the lake. The Pack Station is preparing to take tourists on a packing trip up the Eagle Cap Mountains. This is not for beginners, as the terrain is rough, but beginners can still ride around town. This a big attraction for tourists who want to get a little taste of the mountains, without actually having to hike up any of them.    Joanne Rogers and Sharon Warder after a busy day of cooking at Joseph Charter School. He and his friends play a pick up game twice a week, and sometimes compete with other intramural teams. The teammates are all from different background and enjoy getting together to play basketball. The team played multiple different games, and they mixed up their teams after every match, so no true winner can be recognized.

Review on "Our Planet" -- Spoiler alert: definitely worth watching!

Image
Photo Courtesy of Netflix The soothing, melodic, and familiar British voice of David Attenborough may give you the false pretense that the Netflix Original series “Our Planet” will show you beautiful pictures of the natural world, similar to his other shows, “Planet Earth” and “Blue Planet.” You are mistaken. While the nature documentary does show you the pristine and awe-provoking world of the natural ecosystem, it accompanies those images with the jarring reality of climate change. What differs in this show is its unavoidable message. Instead of making the effects of climate change on our environment background information, “Our Planet” focuses on it. The sadistic, yet necessary component of the show, is its play on our emotions. You will start at the top of your roller coaster of emotions witnessing the true and undeniable beauty of the natural world, images of the multicolored beauty and diversity of the coral reefs and all that inhabits them. She spent a year traveling, starting her journey in Nepal with a program called Where There Be Dragons. She expressed her gratitude for her experience in Nepal, and how it has shaped who she is and what she wants to do. After seeing the lack of a recycling program or environmental education, in Nepal and other remote areas, she decided she wanted to pursue a career in environmental science. After graduating, Haven wanted to focus on creating an education program in third world countries.
