Humans of LBCC: Christopher Batman and Elisa Kanoff

Christopher Batman
Christopher Batman is in his second term of his freshman year, majoring in Machine Tools. Christopher has spent the past 5 years in the Army, and is now transitioning from the structured life that the army provides, to the loose setting of a college campus. He has spent most of his free time in the veteran center at LBCC, and it has been a major safe haven for him. He explains how great it is to have a place to connect with people who are used to the lifestyle of the military; 5 a.m wake ups and the fast paced and "craziness you see in the real army". With a wake up time of 6 a.m Christopher is excited to have a class this term at 9 a.m, where last term all of his classes started at 1 p.m. and he was bored all day. His favorite class last term was Comm 111 with Jacob Hood, and he's excited to see what this term has to offer.

Elisa Kanoff
Elisa Kanoff is second year, duel enrolled at LBCC and OSU. She is heading towards a major in Fisheries and Wildlife, and hopes to specialize in law enforcement with the goal of becoming a game warden some day. Elisa's favorite class is Chemistry. Her first year she spent just a LBCC and is now working on dipping her toes into the bigger school. She explains how nerve-racking it was at first, going to the bigger schools. She had to find her way around all over again, but so far he has been loving it. Elisa loves the chance to connect with students at OSU, duel enrolled students and being able to help out new students.
